Boys Soccer Falls to Fort

On Thursday, March 16 the Boys Soccer JV and Varsity team traveled to Fort Defiance to take on the Indians. JV ended in a tie with a score of 1-1 with a goal from Fisher Howald. Varsity was equally unsuccessful with a final score of 0-2. The team struggled without two senior starters Bryan Kendall and John-Huss Clement due to injury.

Sophomore, Bryce Bell is a defensive center midfielder on the varsity team.

“It was a very physical game but the team’s [Fort Defiance] defense was good,” said Bell. “I played ok. I could’ve done more to help move the ball. Overall it was a good game.”

Boys soccer will play next at home Friday, March 17 against Staunton and Tuesday, March 21 against Fort Defiance.
