Junior Bee Sackett is non-binary, preferring they/them pronouns. Bee is in their second year of Journalism. They chose to join Journalism as a reporter because they wanted to learn how to write with objectivity and see everything from multiple sides, in addition to their aspirations of being a conflict journalist. They’re also interested in Journalism because they want to be able to represent communities that are important to them and be able to give a voice to people who are often left unheard. They have always found a fascination with journalism that is rare in other subjects; they feel that integrity is integral to everything, which makes Journalism a natural fit. Bee is involved with STAND, co-president of SAGA, co-president of Green Team, and a player on the Academic Team. They love to play the piano and listen to the loudest music they can find at the highest volume they can bear.
