“Speak No Evil” isn’t a typical horror movie. This movie is more on the psychological side of the horror movies. A dream holiday turns into a living nightmare when an American couple and their daughter spend the weekend at a British family’s idyllic country estate.  The film explores themes of social behavior, manipulation, and the dark side of human nature, creating a tense and disturbing atmosphere. 

“Speak No Evil” came into theaters on Sept.13, 2024 with a budget of 15 million USD.  The film was given a 7/10 on IMDB and an 83% on rotten tomatoes which reflects its heavy impact on the audience and movie critics. Overall the scores indicate that if you are a horror fan this is a must watch. 

The movie starts with a slow introduction of the characters, allowing the audience to get a feel for their personalities and actions. As the story unfolds,  unsettling clues about the Dutch family begin to show, creating an atmosphere of scary tension. These clues are skillfully added into the storyline, keeping viewers on edge as they try to piece together the mystery.
