Napa Thai is considered to be the best place in Lexington, VA. to enjoy Thai Cuisine and spend a night out with family or friends. The restaurant is located at 24 N.Main Street, Downtown. Regarding the working hours, it’s open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m every day of the week. Another good feature of the restaurant is that visitors don’t have to make reservations, which makes their lives much easier. There are a variety of Thai meals offered, such as Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, Pad PringKhing, Pad See Ew, Spicy Eggplant, Green, Red or Yellow Curries, Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, Sweet and Sour etc. They also offer famous Thai Tea and Thai Coffee, which are always served cold.
Last Friday I went there with my friend Estephany and we had a very good time eating delicious food and enjoying the atmosphere in the restaurant. I ordered Pad See Ew (for $14) and my friend got a Spicy Beef Salad (for $12). Pad See Ew is a stir fried wide rice noodle with broccoli, egg and sweet black soy sauce and your choice of meat, while Spicy Beef Salad consists of beef in lemongrass, fresh chili, lime juice, sliced green onions, mint, roasted rice powder, red onion and cilantro.
The service was a bit slow because of the amount of visitors that day, but they managed to come up to take our orders as soon as they could. When you enter a restaurant, you will see a long hallway decorated with Virginia and U.S flags and some paintings hang on the wall. The furniture and decorations help you get into Thai culture and make up a lovely atmosphere.
I really enjoyed Pad See Ew because I love the combination of noodles and sweet black soy sauce and broccoli that was perfectly cooked. My friend said she loved the meal too.
“I love spicy food, so I got a Spicy Beef salad, and I loved the mint and cilantro added, which made the salad more flavorful.” – said Estephany. I rate my meal to a 10/10, and Estephany thinks it’s worth a solid 10/10 too! With such high ratings given to a restaurant, Napa Thai is definitely worth visiting.
The food is 100% authentic and neatly cooked by Thai executive chefs with 9 years of cooking experience. Every dish is made from fresh ingredients coming from Washington D.C and Richmond every week.
– My favorite meal definitely has to be the Fried Rice with Shrimp, it’s salty and has many flavors and is BEST when I’m craving it on rainy days, and goes perfectly with their Thai Tea..
