The new 2K25 came out on Sep. 3, 2024.It’s a basketball game where you can have your own team, you can create your own player, and it’s like you were in the game.

 This season they added facial scans, you download a picture and you can have your face in the game. They added new features like the RNG, it’s like a new thing when you are going to shoot the ball, they added a new franchise and along with the franchise they added My city which allows you to play 2v2 and 3v3 with friends in a bigger version of park from 2k24. 

We asked Coach Ben Kabzinski  what his thoughts were on it. 

“I like the new 2k25 because of the reality, the lateral movements, and also the contested shots are more realistic. It’s like the big thing that I like, because you’re not getting blocked from the free throw line.” Kabzinski said.

While other people dislike those features.

 Sophomore Tate Mayo said “I think it’s pretty fun because Lebron James is in there.” says Mayo. Freshman Austin Greer gave his opinion about the game. 

“If I will  be honest, I don’t feel any way about the game, it looks the same every year, only a few details about the plot, shooting aim, the movement, new animations, and My City is different.” Greer said.

Freshman Brennen Tomlin, he talked about the shooting aim, “It’s the same thing every year and the new shot clock is RNG.” Tomlin said .

Sophomore Lukas Rosson said, “ I like the new face scan.” says Rosson . The face scan is a feature where you can scan your face and you will be in the game.
