With Spring Break coming up, there’s so much more time to do the things you love, and try different hobbies or activities you normally wouldn’t have time for. Here are our suggestions on how to spend your days when you’re either stuck at home, or at a loss for what to do.
The first activity you could do is learn how to crochet or knit. There are endless possibilities to what you can create by simply purchasing a ball of yarn. After making a couple projects, you can even post online about your craft, and sell them to close friends.
Another activity you could do is find a job either pet sitting or babysitting throughout your break. In this, you could make tons of money while also getting experience with responsibility and being in charge of a situation. You can also strengthen your patience and get a fun, new perspective on life.
If you are feeling like having a more relaxing break, you might want to do a movie marathon. Netflix is the perfect streaming platform. Some shows that are perfect to watch on Netflix are Ginny and Georgia, Gossip Girl, The Good Place, Bad Influence, and many more. You can easily get snacks and a drink and settle in for a long, relaxing spring break!
Has your room been especially messy because of the long, tiring semester? Try to reset with a closet cleanout. A closet cleanout is the best way to feel clean and organized. You are able to get rid of any clothes that do not fit anymore, and organize your clothes by color or type.
A final, fun activity to try over break is baking. You can make all sorts of different goods like homemade cookies, cake, cupcakes, macarons, muffins, brownies, doughnuts, cobbler, and so many more. Along with baking these goods, you get the reward of eating them after they are finished. It is fun to see what you are capable of doing, and put your skills to the test.
