A year after the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef and I still say Drake clears Kendrick. We believe that Drake has better music and his popularity has brought him to be one of the best current R&B and pop artists.
Drake has dropped countless hit albums that have had millions of copies sold. He has also won five grammys for the best solo artist. Drake has a unique way of combining R&B and rap, which has brought him global popularity.
One of his most recent albums is “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U”,featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR. The album reached 287.04 million streams in a week,earning the largest streaming week for any album in 2025.
Drake is the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify,hold the chart for the most Hot 100 songs, and the most No.1 albums on the Billboard 200 for solo songs. On top of all of this, Drake is the most streamed
artist on spotify.
The beef all started from Drake and J. Cole dropped a song saying that J.Cole, Drake, and Kendrick were, “The Big 3”, but Kendrick did not like that statement because he said that he was the best artist of all time and he didn’t need other rappers for him to succeed.. After the beef, Kendrick has dropped a song called “Money without me” which reached about 2 billion streams on Spotify. Kendrick Lamar’s new album titled “GNX” has 2.5 billion streams.
As a response to that, Drake decided to drop some songs responding to Kendrick’s diss songs, “Push Ups” and “Family Matters”. Both of these songs are about their beef and Lamar not supporting Drake statement.
