In the first (wildcard) round, 3 games were played in the AFC: Texans vs. Chargers, Ravens vs. Steelers, and Bills vs. the Broncos. As well as 3 in the NFC: Commanders vs. Buccaneers, Rams vs. Vikings, and Eagles vs. Packers. Most of the games in the AFC turned out as expected, but the NFC was a different story.

In a rematch of week 1, the (12-5) Washington Commanders played the (10-7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coming into the game, the Washington Commanders were seen as underdogs due to the loss in week 1 to the same team, but they pulled through, defeating the Buccaneers 23-20 with a game winning field goal and seconds remaining in the game.
In the second (Divisional) round, the Los Angeles Rams run was cut short, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles by a small margin in the snow. The Commanders continued to surprise fans, powering through their competition, and defeating the NFC’s top ranked team: the Detroit Lions.
The AFC had two thrilling matchups with the (10-7) Houston Texans putting up a surprisingly strong fight, but ultimately losing to the defending Super Bowl champions, the (15-2) Kansas City Chiefs.
In the second AFC game, the (12-5) Baltimore Ravens took on the (13-4) Buffalo Bills in a battle of the top MVP candidates: Quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Quarterback Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills prevailed over the Ravens and won the game in a close 27-25.
In the NFC championship round, the Eagles held a strong early lead against the Commanders, with a final score of 55-23, scoring the most points in a championship game in NFL history and securing their spot in the Super Bowl. In the AFC, the Bills and Chiefs were in a much closer game with the Chiefs winning 32-29 securing their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, hoping for the three peat.
This final matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles will take place on Feb. 9 in New Orleans, Louisiana. You can tune into this game on FOX and other streaming services at 6:30 pm. On Feb. 1 and 2 the Pro Bowl games will take place in Orlando Florida. The best players of the NFC will play the best of the AFC in many skill showdowns including a flag football game.
