Students participate in car smashing fundraiser for prom

Sophomore Brody Price hits the car with a sledgehammer.

On Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, the SCA put out a car smash fundraiser for prom. This is a tradition the school has done previous years during the week of homecoming. Students were able to swing the sledgehammer three times, which costs $3.

Zachary Watts is a Junior at Rockbridge County High School and is a first year reporter for The Prowler. Outside of school, he is a member of the Hinojosa Boxing Club and is also passionate about fishing. Outside of sports, he likes to spend time with friends and family, watching sports, and movies. This year, he is looking forward to applying to the NHS. He is looking to better develop his writing skills and is looking forward to getting more involved with the school. After high school, he is planning on attending a 4 year university at James Madison University.
