The mayor of Virginia created a law saying that phones aren’t allowed in school. Students are allowed to have them out in the morning before the bell and after school. Rockbridge County High School followed the law in January after winter break. The policy is to help student’s grades go up and missing work decline. With the students not being on their phone they can study during classes and are able to complete work on time. There are some bad parts to the policy. Students no longer can have their phones at lunch and can’t listen to music during class.
