“I’ve been doing art for as long as I can remember but in third grade I realized that it was something I really enjoyed doing and wanted to get better at. I mostly draw in realism, since that’s what we focus on in art class and am still trying to find my own style outside of that. My favorite subject to draw is people because I love to mess around with their poses. I’ve always wanted to do an oil painting on canvas so I’m hoping for an opportunity to do that.” – Sophomore Evelyn McClung

Claire Sigler, Print Editor-in-Chief
Claire Sigler is a senior at Rockbridge County High School. This is her third year as a member of The Prowler, and she is thrilled to be stepping into the role of Editor-in-Chief. Sigler is ecstatic to continue her work with the school’s newspaper and is ready to dive even deeper into its creation. She can often be found sipping one too many chai lattes, enjoying a good movie, or photographing anything and everything. As a dedicated dancer, she spends most of her time as a senior company member at The Rockbridge Ballet, training in a range of styles including pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. After high school, Sigler plans to expand her passion for design by growing her marketing skills, combining creativity with strategy to make ideas a reality.
