“I’ve been playing with my band technically since the summer of 2024, but we weren’t able to rehearse or perform for most of last school year. We recently had a resurgence this past summer and plan on staying strong this year. I am the band’s frontman, or band leader. I play the bass guitar and do vocals. Our vocals are split up between each member of the band because we all want to sing, and it’s chaotic sometimes, but so much fun. We originally started this band to play for a summer camp in June of 2024, and we had so much fun just jamming out and learning music together we decided to push forward with it. My favorite part and also the most challenging part of being in a band is making and finding music that connects me and my bandmates. We all have different fairly different music tastes, but we try to all bring it together to make an indie rock style. When we all put together our musical talents just making something that fits within all of our visions is so satisfying… even if sometimes my guitarists disagree on how we should play it. Right now we’re currently working on a single called ‘Private’ and I’m very proud of all the work we’re doing on it and the emotions that me and my bandmates are able to express through it.
