About the Contributors
Dean Fafatas, Reporter
Junior Dean Fafatas is entering his second year on the Prowler Staff. He is a reporter on the Prowler Staff. He is in Journalism because he enjoyed taking videos last year, writing articles about fun topics, taking pictures at sporting events and other school wide events, making playlists on Spotify, and being with the Prowler Staff. Dean is a member of the Outing Club, Golf team, and Young Life. Dean spends most of his time watching college football, eating food, hanging with friends, or playing golf. He enjoys fall weather, the gas station Sheetz, and Dr Pepper. Dean is very excited about writing and being apart of journalism this year.
Claire Sigler, Art Director
Claire Sigler is a junior at Rockbridge County High School. This is her second year in Journalism and her first year as Art Director. She is ecstatic to continue being involved with the school's newspaper. In her free time, Sigler enjoys drinking too many chai lattes, participating in intense Just Dance battles, and photographing anything and everything. Claire Sigler spends most of her time as a senior company member at the Rockbridge Ballet and partakes in many styles of dance including, pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. After highschool, she plans on moving to Finland to become a professional sleeper where she will get to write reviews about the comfort of mattresses.
Ella Cate Brown, Arts and Style Editor
Junior Arts and Style editor Ella Cate Brown is very excited to write some awesome articles this year. She has Type one Diabetes and is very proud and open about it. She spends her free time dancing in the Senior Company at The Rockbridge Ballet where she spends most of her afternoons working hard. When she's not dancing, she likes to spend her time either at the racetrack or helping her brother work on his racecar. Brown also enjoys getting her brother to drive her to Cookout for a late night oreo milkshake. After high school she wants to become an engineer, but only after she finds a way to make her pancreas work again.
Grace Fleshman, Managing Editor
Grace Fleshman is an emotional senior that has probably cried 100 times because this is her last year of high school. This will be her third year on the Prowler Staff and she is excited to step into the role of Managing Editor. She is involved with NHS and Young Life, while also trying to find opportunities to grow her skills in the field of Journalism. Fleshman has always loved watching the talent show as a kid and can’t wait to plan it this year. In her free time, she dances at The Rockbridge Ballet and just got the role of Snow White in her upcoming show. You can usually find her grabbing a sweet treat with her friends, binge watching popular TV shows, or planning trips and concerts with her family. While on The Prowler staff for her last year, she hopes to share new and exciting types of media with the student body. In the future, although she’s sad to leave Lexington, she hopes to study Journalism in college to eventually become a News Broadcaster (not just because they talk and drink coffee all day).
