The cheerleaders successfully perform a trick.
Last Thursday, Oct. 24 the annual Thompson Turf War was hosted by FCCLA. The game was slow at first with juniors running the ball. Tensions began to rise as junior player Bella Dorey got closer to the endline. Seniors tried their hardest and defended well but overall could not catch up to the juniors main runners: Bella Dorey, Ella Cate Brown, and Natalie Samante. During halftime, junior cheerleaders ramped up spirits as the juniors took the lead. The game ended with juniors defeating seniors, or so everyone thought. The scoreboard changed so the seniors won, but after a few moments the score went back to 28-14. Juniors had defeated seniors.
