Senior Cats Final Battle Against Turner Ashby
On Feb. 3, 2023 the Rockbridge County High School varsity girls basketball team played their final home game against Turner Ashby High School for their Senior Night.
Seniors Rachel Hines and Mckenzie Hines were celebrated as this is their final year playing the sport for Rockbridge County.
Rachel Hines plans to continue their education at Liberty University, while Mckenzie will be attending Radford University after high school.
After a long night of the girls giving it their all, the cats fell to Turner Ashby High School with a final score of 55-24.

Mackenzie Mynes is a Senior at Rockbridge County Highschool and she is a first year reporter. She’s excited to join the Prowler Staff this year and accomplish many things alongside her peers. Mackenzie is taking Journalism because she wants to become an investigative reporter as a career in the future (also she loves Mrs. Holton). She hopes to go to VCU to study Psychology and minor in Journalism. Besides working at Natural Bridge State Park you can find Mackenzie baking, reading, or intently listening to a true crime podcast.
