Girls Soccer Takes on Fort Defiance
Rockbridge girl’s soccer faced the Fort Defiance Indians on March 16. They were defeated with a 1-0 score after entering overtime.
Although the game didn’t turn out the way they would have wished for, players still learned from the experience.
Senior Maliyah Hickling shared her thoughts on the game.
“Overall, it was a learning experience, and as a team, we have some defense to practice as well as techniques to work on,” said Hickling.
The team is going to work on some things going forward in order to be prepared for upcoming games.
Girls soccer record is currently 1-2. The girls soccer next game is Friday, March 24 at James River High School.
