Mountaineers Trample Wildcats on the Mound
On March 23, 2023, the Rockbridge’s Varsity Baseball team fell to Allegheny’s Varsity Baseball team with a final score of 3-9. Currently, the boys Varsity team’s record is one win and three loses.
Team catcher and junior Thomas Armstrong commented on how the team plans to improve moving forward.
“We are going to come together as a team earlier on in the game and get a faster start,” said Armstrong.

Senior Reagan Marie Woody is enjoying her third and final year in journalism working as the Editor-in-Chief. Woody joined the Prowler Staff to inform her classmates on various events in RCHS and the world through her articles. When not working insanely hard on editing articles, Woody can be found either making multiple cups of coffee at the Keurig machine in the journalism classroom or mindlessly roaming the craft aisle at Walmart. Outside of the classroom, you can catch Woody working as the Assistant Pool Manager at the Lexington Golf and Country Club, as well as the RCHS Coordinator for The News Gazette. Woody also works tirelessly as the National Honor Society President, Senior Section Editor for the Trivium, Students for Life President, and Colorguard team captain. Woody can also be found making rosaries, reading her Bible, and studying German. Woody will be attending Sweet Briar College to major in elementary education. She looks forward to spending her third year in journalism editing articles and writing opinion pieces.
