Sophomore Joe Vargas is a first-year member of the Prowler Staff and he decided to take Journalism this year because of all the fun opportunities the class holds. He is a dedicated and passionate member of the golf team in the fall, and tennis team in the spring. Joe is also the treasurer on the Executive Council for SCA and enjoys participating in the outing club this year. He likes to watch all kinds of sports such as basketball, football, and golf. Joe’s favorite college sports team is the Ohio State Buckeyes. When it comes to basketball, Vargas is a firm believer that LeBron James is the greatest player of all time. Overall, he is really looking forward to Journalism and what the upcoming school year has to offer.
