In the walls of Rockbridge, a war of water bottles is in commotion. Students, teachers, and administration all use water bottles daily to quench their thirst. To settle this debate, students answered a poll choosing their favorite water bottle. What water bottle brand will conquer the top spot among the RCHS community?
Owala has risen to the top for its sustainability and design. Among the body of RCHS, the Owala is used by 45.1 percent of the school. The

design of the Owala water bottle cap covers your nose to make you appear as a koala. Owala’s are proven to be spill-proof, making them superior to other brands.
HydroFlask gained significant popularity starting in 2019. RCHS favors Hydroflask’s by 28 percent, proving how revolutionary the brand is to still be popular today. The water bottle is proven to keep ice frozen for up to 24 hours. The simple design of the HydroFlask makes this the perfect bottle for school.
Stanley has continued to maintain their reign as a popular water bottle brand through the past few years, 22.9 percent of the RCHS community still favors the brand. In 2023 a woman named Danielle Lettering posted a TikTok showing the result of her car catching on fire. In the video she shows that her Stanley left in the cup holder kept her ice. So if you need a water bottle that will stay cold all day, Stanley is definitely a good option.
HydroJug started becoming popular in 2021. Unlike HydroFlask, it has not really remained a top brand among the RCHS community, with only a 4 percent favoritism. This makes it the least loved brand among students and staff.
Owala has been proven to be our RCHS communities’ favorite water bottle brand, ending our water bottle war. Now that we are at peace, it’s a good time to remind everyone to properly wash your water bottles and stay hydrated!
