The new futuristic game Cyberpunk 2077 has been in the works for years and it was finally released about a month ago. Although its flaws in regard to its graphics and visual bugs break the overall gameplay, Cyberpunk 2077 offers you to make a story based on your decisions along with memorable characters.

Step in the futuristic setting of Night City, where the lines between man and machine become blurred as new cyber technology advances normal life. You play as V, a mercenary who is waiting for the next contract to fall into their hands. You can customize V in a myriad of ways, from hairstyle and eye color to tattoos and cyber designs. From there you can pick your life path, either as a Nomad (an outsider from the desert immigrating to Night City), a Streetkid (a native to Night City who is born and raised in the slums), or a Corpo (a high-class rich kid who works with and for the elite CEOs). These decisions do not affect stats or abilities; they only give you different dialog options and a backstory to your V.

After these choices, you go from these simple choices to explore the city in a story of corporate espionage, an important computer chip, and a familiar rockstar. There are many quests to do and items to acquire as you advance the story. You can even pursue love interests and relationships to find the perfect person for your V. There are dozens of items, quests, and choices for you to make, and the sky is the limit.

However, even with these features and mechanics, Cyberpunk 2077 has had pitfalls with graphics, visual bugs, and glitches. Since its release, CD Projekt Red has produced patch updates fixing these problems, but it still has problems on older consoles. It does not run smoothly on the Xbox One or the PS4. Due to the scarcity of the new consoles, this much hyped game becomes unplayable on older consoles (IGN).

Even with these pitfalls, Cyberpunk 2077 offers a create-your-own story filled with fascinating characters, with multiple endings, and a high replay value (as the number of choices in the game are far too numerous for one playthrough). Although this game might not be what was expected, after the game is fixed, you will be able to make a name for yourself in Night City.
