Junior Grace Huffman chips ball onto the green on the Sept. 12 home match

Although they pulled out the win, Huffman expressed that the ‘Cats did not put on their best performance.

“We didn’t really play the best, but it’s also hard to play your best on your home course,” said Huffman. “The conditions weren’t that great because we haven’t had a lot of rain, which means the ground is really hard and the ball just doesn’t stick, which I think some of us had a hard time adjusting to.”

The ‘Cats will host another match against Buffalo Gap, Riverheads, and Wilson Memorial Sept. 19.
