Located at the largest truck stop on the East Coast in Raphine, VA you can find a lovely modern styled sports bar called Quaker Steak and Lube. The restaurant is equipped with a bar as well as an indoor and outdoor seating arrangement with TVs and other motorcycle themed things hanging from the ceiling.

When it comes to food they have a lot of typical American themed meals. The restaurant is known for their wings, burgers, and chicken sandwiches. Personally my favorite had to be the mac and cheese burger and loaded tater tots. Furthermore, Junior Joshua Wright is also a big fan of the restaurant.

“My first time at the Quaker Steak and Lube I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich, ” said Josh. ”It had an amazing flavor and buzz to every bite and I can’t wait to go back again.”

Along with solid food, Quaker Steak and Lube is made better by their outstanding service. Everyone is very excited and welcoming no matter the size of the party.

From my personal experience I have always gone in large groups of people and have never been disappointed with any aspect of their service.

However, according to Senior Food critic, Keswick Owens, the Lube lacks skills in the wrap making department saying,

“I ordered a Buffalo Chicken wrap, and I was frankly disappointed, ” said Owens, ” There was about 90% lettuce and only 10% chicken, the loaded fries are S tier though for sure.”

They also host a wonderful karaoke night, allowing staff and guests to interact and participate in a sing song joy fest.

Taking into account both the positives and negatives of the establishment I would rate the Quaker Steak and Lube a solid 7.792 out of 10, and would try again. The food is pretty good, however the atmosphere and people make it so much better.
