Mr. Andrew Simon is one of more than 20 new teachers at RCHS this year.  In his first year at RCHS, Simon is teaching two sections of US history and three of government.  Mr. Simon moved to Rockbridge County from Northern Virginia, where he taught at Falls Church High School.    important to know the past, because that is one of the best ways to tell what will happen in the future,” said Simon.

One of the things he loves most about RCHS is how calm and nice the people are.

“In Northern Virginia, it is really busy and everything moves at a fast pace.  One of the things that I loved about Rockbridge when I had traveled through was how relaxed it was,” said Simon. 

 “It’s less rushed and busy, and everyone at the high school is respectful and genuine.  I’ve been to 4 schools, and RCHS has one of the closest knit communities.”
