Donnie Perkins is a new special education teacher at RCHS. Originally from Buena Vista, he played baseball, football, and wrestled. After high school, he attended Liberty University in Lynchburg. His hobbies include coaching the ‘Cats football team and being outdoors.

Before coming to RCHS, Perkins always taught special education, and previously came from Maury River Middle School. Perkin’s favorite aspect of his job is interacting with students and the administration, since he thinks the administrators are very respectful and compassionate.

“Rockbridge County High School is a wonderful place that provides students with unlimited opportunities,” said Perkins. “I’m glad I get to be a part of it.”
