The Varsity Softball team held their second game of the season at home on March 16. Freshman pitcher, Sadie Moore, had eight strikeouts.  This gave the Wildcats the upper hand in the game. 

Sophomore Emma Hall, outfielder on the Varsity squad, spoke about her view on the game.

“Everyone hit and came home. The game was over in 5 innings, meaning we slaughtered them twice,” said Hall.

The team worked together to accomplish such a win. 

“Everyone was positive and had a good attitude, everyone was encouraging the team all game,” said Hall. “I’m happy to be part of this.”

The Wildcats defeated the Staunton Storm 19-0.
