Football vs Parry McCluer

In their first regular season game, the Wildcat football team defeated the Parry McCluer Blues 33-6. The evening started off with senior Triniti Stores scoring the first touchdown of the game for the Wildcats. Johnny Dunn and Jalik Lynch each scored a touchdown, giving the ‘Cats a 20-0 lead.

Receiver Kyle Irvine and Stores each scored another touchdown for the ‘Cats. The first half ended with a 33-0 Wildcat lead. Rhodenizer went 12-16 with 305 passing yards in the first half.

First-year field goal kicker Ellison Morel went 3-5 on the night, giving the ‘Cats a three point boost over the Blues.

Midway through the third quarter, Parry McCluer’s Marcellius Dawson scored a touchdown, but the Blues failed to complete a two point conversion.

The ‘Cats came out on top with a score of 33-6. This win gave the ‘Cats hope for a successful season.
