Every year, the CatCrew Works Trade and Career Fair is held at RCHS. The Career Fair provides students with information and career options after highschool.

Attending trade schools share course offerings and the process of admissions for different careers. Local businesses are also attending to share their employment opportunities and needs.

Juniors, seniors, and select sophomores are able to attend the fair.

Mrs. Sherman, the head of the fair, spoke about the multiple schools and businesses attending.

“I have invited trade schools and various different local businesses to come in and tell students about employment needs. Trade schools, about their different programs that they offer,” said Sherman.

The career fair gives students different options from the college fair, also held at RCHS. The career fair is able to offer alternative choices for students not planning on attending a college or university.

“College fair, you got to see a lot of four year universities. Trade schools, you’re getting to see blacksmithing, agricultural, piolet, and cosmetology options,” said Sherman.

Join the CatCrew for their annual Works Trade and Career Fair on Wednesday February 22, 2023. The fair will be held in the gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For more information, email Mrs. Sherman at- [email protected].
