On January 25, the girl’s varsity basketball team traveled to Harrisonburg to take on the Blue Streaks. The hardfought contest by both teams was not decided in four quarters, and the game went to overtime. Unfortunately, the Wildcats fell to Harrisonburg 58-54. 

Freshman Madilyn Winterton was proud of her team after an impressive performance and hopes to continue improving as a player and team.

“The team worked hard and we played very well together, it was a great game and we kept fighting throughout the whole game but unfortunately could not get the job done. Every game we are improving and I am excited to end the season strong.”
