On Dec, 9 2022, the Rockbridge County Wildcats faced the Fort Defiance Indians for the second time this season. The junior varsity team started off the night with a win against Fort Defiance with a final score of 34-44 . Sophomore Brady Edwards who plays center, is on junior varsity.

“During the game we played very well on defense however I think our offense could use some improvement,” said Edwards.

The Varsity game resulted in a 42-48 loss. Junior, Ian Johnson who plays center on varsity, shared his thoughts on the game.  

“We had good defense but struggled to score off of it.”, said Johnson 

Freshman Matthew Burkhart, who plays point guard, was the leading scorer of the game with 12 points. The boys next game will be Jan, 6 against Harrisonburg at home.
