Girls Basketball Take On The Blues

Both JV and Varsity Girls Basketball teams traveled to Parry McCluer on Jan. 7. JV girls scored high defeating the Blues 41-12. Shortly after Varsity Girls fell to the Blues 24-47 for the second time this season.

“We played well overall. We made a few minor mistakes which set them up,” said Moore. “We missed a bunch of shots which set us back. We all hope eventually to not make those easy mistakes which would set us up for success.”

JV and Varsity Girls will travel to Spotswood on Jan. 13 to take on the Blazers.

Schwarzmann joined journalism to help spread positivity to her peers through writing and creating videos. Outside of school she is on the Varsity Sideline and Competition Cheer Team. She additionally is on the Varsity Swim Team. When she is not in school or participating in athletics, Schwarzmann enjoys teaching swim lessons, spending time with friends and family, being in nature, and watching reality TV shows. After high school Schwarzmann plans to attend college and pursue her love for business and finance.
