Wildcat Tennis Serves Up Lord Botetourt

On Wednesday, March 22, the Girls Tennis team defeated Lord Botetourt. The match was held at Hollins University at 4:30. 

This match consisted of many good plays by different athletes on the team. These good plays contributed to a very entertaining match. 

Junior Ethnie DeSpain describes how the match went overall.

“It was a good game. Sophia Fafatas’ match was fun and entertaining to watch,” said DeSpain. 

Senior Sophia Fafatas shares her opinion on how the match went.

“The match went well! It was fun getting to play doubles,” said Fafatas. 

The match consisted of singles and doubles against Lord Botetourt.

Everyone did their part and tried their best in their singles matches, and we all worked together to win doubles.It was also fun getting to see the ways other doubles teams collaborated together,” said Fafatas. 

The Wildcats won the match by a score of 5-4, adding a successful match to the books. They now have a 1-2 record on the year.
