The ‘Cats boys’ basketball team played Parry McCluer on Jan. 27 at 7:00 p.m. The ‘Cats ended up losing with a final score of 25-97. Juniors Austin Higgins and Isaiah Poindexter (the point guard) were some of the ‘Cats’ top scorers. Senior Landon Blackwell played in the game and, despite the loss, is hopeful that this game will be a learning experience. 

“It was definitely a learning experience for the team,” said Blackwell. “We had a lot of young guys this year, and they will benefit tremendously from it and will do better in the future. We have moved on from it and are looking for the next game. We are not looking back in the past.”
