On August 24, 2021, the Wildcats volleyball team faced off in their season opener versus Parry McCluer. Rockbridge won handedly in three sets, which means their season starts off with a perfect 1-0 record going into their home opener on August 30, 2021 also against PM. 

As for the game sophomore Sophie Vaught said,

“The group as a whole was able to mesh really well and play together as a team, even though it was one of our first times playing this season.”

Also commenting on the team’s performance during the game, sophomore captain Maddie Dahl said, 

“It was a great first game because we needed to figure out how to play as a team and they were a great opponent to help us get into our rhythm.”

Next week the Wildcats face off against PM at home and Fort Defiance on the road on Thursday. Go Cats!
