On Saturday, January 8 the Rockbridge JV and Varsity boys basketball teams faced off against the Blues of Parry McCleur. The JV boys defeated the Cats’ bitter rivals 36-16. Freshman, Quincy Spears is a guard on the team. 

“We started off slow, then we woke up and started to play aggressively,” said Spears, ”8th grade Lincoln Hundley played a great game.” 

The Varsity boys fought hard but fell short to the Blues 23-56. Senior, Austin Higgins is a starter on the Varsity team.

“We played hard as a team, the shots just weren’t falling,” said Higgins. “We’ll definitely be putting in the work for the rest of the season.”
