The RCHS Girl’s Softball team took on Amherst County High School this past Tuesday, March 5, ending with a score of 0-29. While this was just a scrimmage, and this score will not affect the team’s overall record, our Wildcats plan to move forward with what they’ve learned from this game.
Sophomore first baseman Willow Rogers shares her opinion on the game as well as how she plans to look forward.
“I think the game was a learning experience. There are a lot of new girls like myself but I think we went and learned a lot. We are all looking to improve as a team with our team work skills, execution of plays, and strong at bats,” said Rogers.
Be sure to catch your Wildcats in action as they kick off their official season this Wednesday, March 13, at 5:30 against Fort Defiance.
