“I’m going to be walking across northern Spain next summer, doing the Camino de Santiago. The camino is a 500 mile trail that goes across northern Spain. It’s going to take my mom and I five or six weeks, and we’re going to be walking around fifteen miles every single day. We’re doing a lot of hiking in preparation right now. It’s been great cross training for lacrosse which is my spring sport, and it’s going to be a really great experience. We’re going to be carrying everything on our backs, and I’m very excited.”-Sarah Edgar

Rio Bucy, Reporter
Rio Bucy is a senior and this is her first year as a reporter. She is taking Journalism to gain more experience with writing as well as interviewing and getting to know more people. Rio swims for the high school as well as her club team. She spends most of her time at the pool whether it's for swim lessons, swim team, lifeguarding, or just being there for fun. If you can’t find her at the pool, you can usually find Bucy in her room reading her favorite books or working on her latest scrapbook project. She also enjoys taking evening photo walks to capture some of her favorite things. While she’s doing these activities, you will always find a snack in her hand (often paired with her unhealthy obsession, Sprite). Bucy is committed to swim at Randolph College and will be attending after graduation.
