Humans Of Rockbridge: Samuel Hamilton

I drive a pure stock, which is a metric chassis. Either a Monte Carlo, Buick regal, and an Oldsmobile are some of the mains ones around here. I got into racing because my dad has been doing it since I was born, he has been racing for around 12-13 years. I started in a go kart but got bored of it pretty quick, dad got me in a big car and it stuck immediately. I won my first race and continued this year by getting the 2023 pure stock champion award. My favorite aspect of racing would probably be just the people you meet along the way. Lots of people are willing to help when it is needed and everyone is very friendly. Growing up watching guys race and now that I am racing with those guys I have lots of respect for them. -Samuel Hamilton
