Taylor Swift Transports Her Fans to Her Concert Through The Screen

Popular singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has created history with the highest-grossing tour in one year. The Eras Tour has become well known for its 3 hour long performance, friendship bracelet trading, and extravagant costumes.

On the first leg of the tour, 3.5 million attended the show. If you weren’t one of the lucky fans that got tickets, Swift released a new movie that takes the viewer to the stage of the popular concert.

The movie was recorded at one of her shows in Los Angeles in SoFi Stadium. Not only was the movie amazing, but the environment that the fans created around the movie was fascinating.

Before the movie there were people dressed up in sparkles, bling, and Taylor Swift merch like they were going to the concert. The fans lined up for the popcorn buckets and drink cups that had Swift’s album covers on them. During that time, people were also trading friendship bracelets in the movie theater lobby and connecting to people they have never met before.

Once the movie started, fans were out of their seats singing and dancing along to the movie. The movie theater felt like it had transformed into SoFi Stadium and Swift was singing her songs live.

Trends that had been created at the concert, like chants and dances made an appearance inside the theater. During Fearless, people would do heart hands at the screen as Taylor did heart hands at the camera. Also, during “marjorie” everyone in the theater waves their flashlights back and forth in honor of Swift’s grandmother.

Throughout the whole movie you feel like you are actually at the Eras Tour and have a personal connection with Taylor Swift. This movie perfectly recreates the experience of the Eras Tour, but on a much more convenient level. Although nothing will ever compare to seeing Swift live in concert, this movie becomes a close second.
