There are thousands of lacrosse brands in the world but there is a very short list of the top brands, this list includes STX, Nike, ECD, Warrior, Cascade, Brine and Maverick. But every player has their favorite. There are four main categories for lacrosse brands; helmet, pads, clothes and most importantly sticks.
- Helmets
- Cascade. Cascade is the number one helmet in lacrosse, it is the most popular in the sport, and for a good reason it is comfortable, it looks clean, and it has stood the test of time. The best model (XRS Pro) is sold for about 350$
- STX. STX helmets have become more popular recently due to them sponsoring athletes and schools such as Cornell, and Ohio State. It has a very rounded look and good protection. The best model (Aero) is sold for about 280$
- Warrior. Warrior is consistently the reliable third option when buying a helmet most would not go for it but it is not a bad choice of helmet. The best model (Burn) is sold for about 310$.
- Pads
- STX. STX has made top of the line pads for years and they are reliable and durable. The best model (Stallion 1K) is sold for about 180$.
- Maverick. Maverick is a close second in terms of prestige when it comes to pads. They are lightweight and reliable. The best model (M6 EKG) is sold for about 130$.
- Warrior. Warrior is a solid third option for your standard chest protector. They are lightweight, durable, and comfortable. The best model (Burn) is sold for about 130$
- Clothes
- Goaliesmith. Goaliesmith makes high quality clothes for just wearing around the house and for live games. They are mainly focused on clothes for goalies but they do have stuff for field players. Most shirts are sold for about 35$.
- The Lacrosse Network (TLN). While clothes are not the main product that TLN makes. The clothes they make are very high quality and comfortable. Most shirts are sold for about 40$.
- Goat USA. Goat USA makes high quality clothes for wearing around the house. They have been a consistent brand in the lacrosse world for decades. Most shirts are sold for about 30$.
- Sicks
- STX. STX, the king of lacrosse brands. STX is extremely well known for their sticks and heads. They are reliable, durable and flexible. The best two models (Stallion 1K, and Eclipse 3) are sold for about 110$ and 130$ respectively
- ECD. ECD is most famous for their field heads but they have a very solid goalie head. The best two models (Delta, and Impact) are sold for about 145$ and 110$ respectfully.
- Stringking. Stringking is one of the more recent additions to the lacrosse space but they have arrived with a storm. They are quickly taking over the lacrosse world and have very high quality heads. The best two models (Complete Attack 2 and Mark G2) are sold for 160$ and 170$ respectively.
