Wildcats review hidden breakfast spot

Tucked behind Cookout is a hidden gem, Sunrise BBQ. This breakfast spot has a great selection of dishes and classic breakfast foods. They offer breakfast Wednesday-Saturday from 7:00a.m.-11:00a.m. and lunch from 11:00a.m.-1:30p.m. On Sundays they serve brunch from 7:00a.m.-1:30p.m. Sunrise is widely known for great food and even better customer service. 

Dean ordered The Sunrise which comes with two eggs, two bacon strips, two sausage links, homefries and toast. This is a very full plate with lots of food so it’s an amazing meal to have in the morning to fuel you for a full day. The homefries are filled with flavor and go with the rest of the dish extremely well. This meal costs $16. 

Parker ordered the Eggs Benedict which is a classic meal that consists of a toasted english muffin topped with canadian bacon, two poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. Served with a side of home fries. This is a great meal that consists of lots of food with great taste. This meal is perfect for you if you are a big egg fan. This meal costs $15. 

Overall we recommend the Sunrise Diner, as it is a great place to take your family for any meal of the day. The food is great with exceptional customer service. Food comes out very fast and is never cold.

Parker Flint, Reporter
Sophomore Parker Flint is a first-year Prowler reporter who is thrilled to keep you in the know. In addition to the Prowler, Flint is actively involved in Rockbridge athletics. In the fall you can find him competing with the golf team at the local country club, on the court during basketball season, and on the field for lacrosse. On Saturday nights he spends his time racing at the local dirt track. When he’s not involved in sports he enjoys hanging out with his friends and family. While on the Prowler, Flint hopes to use his writing skills to provide top notch sports coverage. 
Dean Fafatas
Dean Fafatas, Reporter
Dean Fafatas is a senior reporter for The Prowler. This will be his first year in journalism, and he couldn’t be more excited. In his free time, Fafatas likes to hang out with friends or watch  movies. Fafatas also participates in three sports: golf, indoor track, and soccer. Some of his interests are hiking, traveling, and watching sports. Fafatas is in two clubs Y-street and Outing club. He likes these clubs because of what they do and the people in them. Dean is on the sophomore class council as treasurer. Dean is hoping to learn how to use new technology and how to write articles at a higher level.
