Ideas to Spring into Cats’ Upcoming Break

The warm and rainy weather is here and spring break is quickly approaching. The question stands: What do we do during this well deserved rest? There are so many things you can do with that week, whether you choose to chill on the sofa and watch movies all week or go out and about with friends, there is no wrong answer.

The first thing that may come to mind for spring break is going on vacation. This could range from a cabin in the woods or the salty air of the beach. Either choice is a great option for relaxing and having a lot of fun.

Camping is another good option to do over break. There are plenty of campgrounds around Rockbridge such as Cave Mountain Lake, Lake Robertson, and JellyStone. Getting away from society helps refresh your mind and prepare you for the upcoming exams.

Keeping yourself busy and getting things done over the week is also a great idea. You can get a head start this spring break with spring cleaning, lawnwork, and gardening.

Spending some of this time with friends and family is arguably one of the better options, making lasting memories and friends you will never forget.

There are more than enough things to keep yourself busy over this break, now it is just about following through and making it the best. Although running around is a lot of fun, it is still important to get rest, because it is the final push to the end of the year.

Oliver Moore, Reporter
Sophomore Oliver Moore is a first year reporter for the Prowler staff. Although it's gonna be a challenge for him, he's going to get through this and have lots of fun. Some things he enjoys are hiking and camping. Camping is his go to thing to get away from everything. He also likes to draw and sketch; some of the things he would draw are birds and other animals and mushrooms. His favorite things to do in his free time includes watching the Walking Dead even if he watches as many times as there are episodes and hanging out with friends whether it's at school or not. He is excited to start playing a role in the Prowler and make new friends.
