Do you struggle finding movies to watch over winter break? We created a 25 days of holiday movies guide. Students and staff helped by voting on what their favorite holiday movie is to give us the best line up of movies to watch over break.
According to the voting, out of all 25 of the movies, “Home Alone” is the favorite movie. Home Alone is about a little boy who is forgotten, and had to spend Christmas home alone while his family goes on vacation. During his time alone he has to fight off burglars and figure out how to take care of himself. Coming in second place, with a total of 14 votes, is “ELF”, its about a man who was raised as an elf in the North Pole and travels to New York to try and find his father and start a normal life. The movie “Polar Express” takes the spot for the third best holiday movie. Polar Express is about a boy who wakes up to a ruckus outside his home, the cause of the noise is a magical train that can take him and other kids to the North Pole.
The movie guide is in order of worst to best, starting day one with “Best Christmas Ever” and ending with “Home Alone” on day 25. The movies are all very different to ensure that you won’t be bored with the movies. Some movies are live action and others are animated. The guide also includes older, more classic movies and some newer, not as popular movies.
