The holidays are a time of sharing gifts with families and friends, wrapped with love and care, to show appreciation for one another. A fun way to get in the holiday spirit is by making a holiday wishlist.
This year, we decided to ask students and staff what they want for Christmas in 2025 in order to begin the holiday festivities and to give inspiration on what to ask for.

In a poll asking wildcats what they want for Christmas with options of clothes, electronics, food, money, shoes, cosmetics, jewelry, and books, 28.1% said clothes, 7.6% said electronics, 3.1% said food, 22.1% said money, 6.1% said shoes, 0.8% said cosmetics, 3.1% said jewelry, and 10.7% said books. Other responses included a new skateboard, action figures, archery gear, and an MP3 player.
Junior Sydney Black, who is interested in photography, asked for a camera this Christmas to expand her photo taking skills.
“I want a camera, the one I asked for is the Canon EOS Rebel T7. A lot of my friends have it,” Black said.
Many seniors like Danielle Smith are preparing for college during the holidays.
“I want stuff for my dorm and also craft supplies,” Smith said.
Teachers were also asked what they want this Christmas. Perry Hardin, who teaches AP Precalculus, Algebra II, and Capstone is very creative with his wishlist idea.

“I want a trampoline that I can use to dunk on the basketball hoop in my classroom,” Hardin said.
Environmental and Earth Science teacher Breanna Burden, however, wants something more practical.
“I would really love a Peloton treadmill. I’m a runner and it’s getting colder, so it would be nice to be able to run inside,” Burden said.
Rather than materialistic items, some individuals are looking forward to other things this holidays. Work Based Learning Coordinator Robyn Sherman wants to spend time with family.
“What I want is my children and grandchildren to all be together at home,” Sherman said.
Art and theater instructor Erin Allen is hoping for snow during the holidays.
“I want snow for Christmas; I really want a white Christmas this year,” Mrs. Allen said.
Making a holiday wishlist is a fun way to get ready for holiday festivities. We hope that you have more ideas for your wishlist this year!
