This year’s semester events can make students excited for the end of the year. Before seniors leave the school, they want to participate in as many school events as they can before they graduate. So to get organized they arrange a bucket list. Some people have one for their high school years and what they want to accomplish before they head off to college. Some students may want to participate in a school pep rally or get prom king and queen. Checking off as many things off the list can make the student feel like they participated well in their high school years.
Many people have academic goals they want to achieve before leaving. For senior Hayley Higgins, her goal is to bring up her grades.
“I want to graduate with a higher GPA than what I started my senior year with,” Higgins said.
A lot of people enjoy traveling and want to see as many places as they can before they graduate. Traveling is a great way to get different experiences and see what the world has to offer. For senior Sierra Hostetter, she wants to take a trip with those who are close to her.
“I want to go on vacation with friends and go to New York to see Broadway,” Hostetter said.
Some people just want to accomplish something and feel like they have left their mark at the school. For senior Marleigh Robinson, they want to be remembered.
“I want to be either on the Wildcat Weekly or Wildcat of the Week,” said Robinson.
Some students just want to get through high school and don’t have a bucket list. Students feel like either they have accomplished enough or just are ready to be done.
