The RCHS Communications and Graphics Class is making it official! Communications and Graphics is a class that teaches students how to use many programs like adobe illustrator and Photoshop. They are having a fundraiser to make profits for the class. The class will be selling sticker bundles, small and large stickers, and custom stickers to start off.

The stickers will be hand made by the students on the computers and printed off.

Mr. Bennett shared that the stickers will be on average $2. Small stickers will likely be around .50/$1 and large stickers will  be around $4, including bumper stickers.

A poll was conducted that shared Rockbridge students would most prefer comedy, RCHS, and bumper stickers. However, Valentines and Sports stickers followed close behind. The same student poll shared that around 80% haven’t heard of the Graphics and Communications. Bennett stated “I wanted to start promoting our Graphics Program and show the rest of the school what we do.  Many students at RCHS don’t know what Graphic/Communication Systems is so I figured showing them is the best way to educate.  The fundraiser will also fund future projects for the students in our program.”  So feel free to talk to Bennett for more information on the class and think about signing up!

To get more information on how and where to buy stickers there will soon be flyers around the school with scannable QR Codes or you can stop by room 101. They will be up for sale on Feb. 8.

Ireland Bateman, Reporter
Ireland Bateman is a first year journalism student who is in 12th grade. She chose this class to grow her interpersonal skills and become a better writer. Although she doesn’t participate much in sports, she enjoys the gym and extracurricular clubs after school like FBLA and FCCLA. On the other hand, in her personal time she loves goofing around way too late with her friends and doing things like going to Waffle House at 2 in the morning. Besides that, she also likes painting and her job at the movie theater in Lexington. Once school is over she’s very excited to finally graduate and hopefully get to explore many new places and things.
