Girls basketball plays Parry McCluer

The final game of the Rock the Ribbon tournament on Jan. 23 was the RCHS girls playing the Parry McCluer girls. this was the 3rd time that these girls played each other and the second time they played her at RCHS. Originally they were supposed to play different teams but due to the weather and the second day of the tournament getting canceled both of the teams decided to just play each other. The final score of this game was 31-39  with this being the first game that the RCHS girls lost to Parry McCluer.

Junior Jonathan Soriano Caceres is in his second year of journalism. He plays basketball and soccer for Rockbridge County High School. He enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and playing on his Xbox. Most of the time he’s in the hallways, you can see him with his friends. His favorite sport is soccer, he plays for Rockbridge United. He also plays chess, he went to a state tournament and he placed top 10 in K18. In his free time he also likes to spend time with his family, playing gta, reading the bible and  he also likes to hang out with his girlfriend. Soriano is looking forward to improving his writing skills, and the ability to interview people; he also wants to learn how to film and edit videos.
